As I already stated, LSD is a harmful drug. Unlike some drugs, if LSD is taken it can be tracked down in the body even after a few days, weeks, months, or years have passed. It never leaves your system. If this drug is taken, flashbacks will occur randomly (usually during stressful periods of your life). Even if a person hasn't used the drugs in years, or only used it once, they will encounter these flashbacks.
The effects of LSD are unpredictable because it depends on how much you take, the user's mood when they are taking it, and the surroundings it is being take in. Generally though, heart rate and blood pressure will increase, there will be a loss of apetite, huge mood swings will occur, and the user will see images and sounds that aren't actually there.

This was really interesting. I didn't realize that there was different paper and that drug dealers want to customize their stuff. I also didnt know that youd get flashbacks and things like that after you take it.
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree that we have definitely heard many times that drugs are bad. I was unaware of the fact that the drug was put on paper... does the paper dissolve on your mouth then? That is very interesting!

I actually heard that once you have taken LSD or acid, like you said it stays in your system, but i believe that it rests in the bottom of your spine and is spread possiblly through your nervous system. I hope i never am forced into any type of drugs but especially this one because of how it stays in your system. It is extremely bad.
ReplyDeleteThis was a really good article. I never knew though that you could still have flashbacks even though you had only taken it once and it was a year ago. I also didn't know that people put different symbols on them. This was good Jaden.
ReplyDeleteOf the things Jaden listed, there really isn't a single good think you can get from taking the drug. I don't understand people's reasonings for taking drugs such as LSD. Wouldn't it be a bummer if you were like a professional stamp licker and you accidentally licked a batch of LSD papers. Haha. Sorry, that just popped into my head while I was reading the post. When I heard that flashbacks could occur even years after you take the drug, I immediately made up my mind that I would never do the drug...not that I was considering it. To me, it just seems like there is no positive reason for doing that drug or any drug for that matter. Thanks for the good information Jaden.
ReplyDeleteLSD seems to be a very serious drug, the side effects seem really serious. I had no idea that the dealers could customize the paper the drug is taken on. The fact that you can get flashbacks is very bad. I had no idea drugs could stay in your system forever.
